This appalling situation violates human rights and is being covered up by the Chinese government. It is also the topic of James Mann's new book, “The China Fantasy.” Apparently, the Chinese people have more choices in coffee brands and flavors, than real life situations. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 14% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Life](https://www.trendhunter.com/life) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Forced Abortion in China:** Explore opportunities for reproductive rights advocacy and support for women's health in China amidst the prevalence of forced abortions. - **Human Rights Violations in China:** Identify ways to address human rights abuses and promote accountability in authoritarian regimes like China. - **Media Investigation in China:** Pursue disruptive journalism and investigative reporting in countries with limited press freedom, like China. ### Who This Affects Most - **Reproductive Health Advocacy:** Invest in organizations and initiatives that protect women's reproductive rights and provide healthcare services in China. - **Human Rights Organizations:** Support initiatives focused on promoting human rights and advocating for justice in countries with authoritarian regimes, like China. - **Media and Journalism:** Explore opportunities to support independent journalism and media initiatives aimed at exposing human rights abuses and government cover-ups in countries with limited press freedom. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Abortion Care-Promoting Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hey-jane.md) - [Planned Parenthood Chatbots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charley.md) - [Abortion-Supporting Distilled Spirits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dissent-gin.md) - [Anti-Social Media Censorship Petitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/social-media-censorship.md) - [Anti-Gender Violence Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antigender-violence-campaign.md) - [Faceless Mother Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invisible-mothers.md) - [Period-Focused Privacy Features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anonymous-mode.md) - [Innovative Rat Birth Control](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rat-birth-control.md) - [China-Based Formula Innovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a2-milk-company-1.md)
