The 7x7 grid is a modern iteration of smoke signals; Schulze plans to send [images and messages skyward](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-pulses) by forcing smoke through holes in concrete. The project is as beautiful as it is frightening. I have visions of the dementors from the ‘Harry Potter’ books in my head when I see the [wisps of smoke](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iwagumi-air-scape) from ‘For Those Who See’ by Daniel Schulze.
