# Foot-Dustpan Do The Sweeping Without Bending Down By Elit Alice | Published 2007-06-13 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foot-dustpan-do-the-sweeping-without-bending-down References: [elitalice](http://www.elitalice.com/2007/06/14/foot-dustpan/) & [kisd.de](http://kisd.de/~matti/index.htm) I've been waiting for so long for someone to come up with a design for this. There's no more complaining about back problems. Matthias Lange designed the foot-dustpan, that is designed to be attachable to the foot, so you can avoid bending down. Now we only need to learn a safe and elegant way to pour the dust in the bin with an acrobatic movement, and we're ready to sweep. **Implications** - For those of you who think this task still seems a bit advanced, this foot-dustpan is here to help! Even people who admit to being lazy in the cleaning department are going to fall in love with this spiffy gadget. Clearly -- and cleanly -- the foot-dustpan by Matthias Lange is the way to go! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Foot-dustpan Innovation:** Opportunities to create similar gadgets that simplify household chores and help people with mobility issues. - **Wearable Cleaning Tools:** Incorporating technology and design to create wearable cleaning tools. - **Eco-friendly Cleaning:** Developing eco-friendly alternatives for household cleaning products and tools. ### Who This Affects Most - **Consumer Electronics:** Opportunities to incorporate IoT and AI into cleaning tools. - **Home Goods Retail:** Creating a new market for innovative cleaning tools and accessories. - **Assistive Technology:** Designing products that help people with disabilities or mobility issues perform everyday tasks more easily. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sweeping Lawn Debris Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gardena-leaf-lawn-collector.md) - [Humorous Quick Cleanup Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-desk-concept.md) - [Dust-Based Soft Slippers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/done-dusted.md) - [Portable Cleaning Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pulito.md) - [Chic Shoe Care Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shoe-styler.md) - [Cubic Handheld Vacuum Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dust-box-vacuum-cleaner.md) - [Accessibility-Focused Foot Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foot-mouse.md) - [Cordless Vacuum-Mop Combos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreametech.md) - [Animal-Themed Dusters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spit-shine-llama-duster-mitt.md)
