Creator of Foodiggity Chris Durso and his son Cameron have officially completed their year-long artistic food project titled 'Foodnited States of America.' This project presents images of food shaped like states on the map. Accompanying each food image is a [pun-inspired name](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amusebouche) that combines the food used to create the image and the state's original name.

The creative project features all of the states in individual images. The images use [brightly colored foods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ed-ruscha-x-andsons) and backgrounds to create a unique and appealing visual display. Some examples of the Foodnited States of America photographs include 'New Jerky,' which is a piece of jerky shaped like New Jersey and 'Oklahummus,' which is a [slice of bread with hummus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pbj-inspired-sandwich-plates) to represent Oklahoma.

Each image is bright and exotic looking, and all of the images are 100 percent edible.
