Titled the 'MIX&MATCH' collection, these food trays are offered in nine different models, using a [copper-plated aluminum base](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heavyduty-aluminum-tray) and ceramic on top. The ceramic is covered in beautiful geometric patterns with understated colors to complement the copper edges. The trays can be used as a food platter, to serve tea or coffee, or as a decorative side table or pedestal. Since the MIX&MATCH collection comes in a variety of sizes, you can stack them on top of one another to create a [multi-tier serving tray](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/system-tray). As the name of the product explains, the MIX&MATCH collection is designed to allow you to customize it in any way that suits you, pairing different patterns together or using it for anything you see fit. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 34% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Handmade Food Trays:** Opportunity for artisanal makers to create their own unique style - **Customizable Home Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to create tailor-made goods for individual preferences - **Multi-functional Serving Trays:** Opportunity to design products that can serve as both decorative accents and functional pieces ### Sectors Adopting This - **Artisanal Home Decor:** Opportunity for small handmade businesses to cater to the home decor market - **Event Planning and Catering:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to offer unique and customizable serving tray options for events and catering services - **Interior Design:** Opportunity to create custom-made and multi-functional decorative accessories for the home ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Clay-Modeled Multi-Use Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramics-everday-objects.md) - [Modern Tableware Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trasa-home.md) - [Portable Tray Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taso-tray-table.md) - [Elegant Snack Platter Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hors-doeuvres-set.md) - [Unique Upcycled Serving Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recycled-wine-bottle-appetizer-tray.md) - [Leaf-Inspired Colorful Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leaf-tray.md) - [Artsy Serving Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecoresin-accented-cheese-and-charcuterie-serving-boards.md) - [Handmade Dessert Plates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carolina-k.md) - [Shadow-Inspired Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightware-series.md)
