The product was mind-bogglingly magnificent in its execution and expression of incredible detail. Undertaken by artist Anouk Vogel, the blooming plot of [bright white petals, stems and leaves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/structural-botany) was a gesture that called for the divine reward of the paper-folding practice. But instead of making the [1,000 origami cranes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fold-and-crease-extended) that merits a wholesome wish by the creator, this elaborate arrangement is a symbolic request for world peace. A profound sense of serenity would have, however, overcome any individual who beheld the beautiful Folding for Peace paper garden. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Origami Art:** The trend of using origami as a form of artistic expression, creating intricate and visually stunning installations like Folding for Peace. - **Symbolic Installations:** The trend of creating outdoor installations with deep symbolic meanings, such as the call for world peace in the case of Folding for Peace. - **Attention to Detail:** The trend of focusing on minute details and meticulous craftsmanship, as seen in the scrupulous process of creasing and fixing paper pieces for Folding for Peace. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Design:** The art and design industry can explore the use of origami as a medium for creating visually captivating installations and sculptures. - **Tourism and Hospitality:** The tourism and hospitality industry can incorporate symbolic installations like Folding for Peace into their outdoor spaces to create a serene and thought-provoking atmosphere for visitors. - **Craft and DIY:** The craft and DIY industry can tap into the trend of attention to detail by providing resources and tutorials for creating intricate origami art projects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Intricate Site-Specific Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-time.md) - [Origami-Inspired Ceramics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-series.md) - [Stunning Origami Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-portaits.md) - [Interactive Architectural Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-landscape.md) - [Origami-Inspired Porcelain Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/saori-matsushita.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Sculptural Mixed-Media Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-echoes.md) - [Monumental Air Installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iwagumi-air-scape.md) - [Blooming Clustered Art Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/structural-botany.md)
