The screen is characterized by its [malleable design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stretchable-display) that would enable it to be moved, formed and positioned in a range of ways to suit the specific needs of the user. This means it could be easily used on a desktop, hung on a wall or even carried between locations thanks to its ability to be carried like the classic [folio bag](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-folio) it shares a name with. The conceptual 'Folio' foldable OLED screen is paired with a series of magnetic clasps on the arms that would enable a series of modules to be positioned in place for use like speakers, cameras and other accessories. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 89% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Malleable OLED Screens:** The ability to mold OLED screens opens up opportunities for creating innovative and flexible devices with unique form factors. - **Foldable Screens for Multifunctional Use:** Foldable screens like the 'Folio' OLED screen provide users with a convenient and portable option for use in a range of settings and situations. - **Modular Screen Accessories:** The 'Folio' OLED screen's magnetic clasps and accompanying modules create opportunities for developers to design and market accessories that enhance the user experience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Consumer Electronics:** Flexible and foldable OLED screens could revolutionize the consumer electronics industry by making devices more portable, versatile, and user-friendly. - **Audio Equipment:** The 'Folio' OLED screen's compatibility with speaker modules presents an opportunity for audio equipment manufacturers to create more immersive and customizable audio systems. - **Photography and Videography:** The 'Folio' OLED screen's compatibility with camera modules opens up a range of possibilities for photographers and videographers, from creating a more efficient workflow to capturing new types of footage. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Malleable Furniture-Like TVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flexible-oled-display.md) - [Immersive All-Screen Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macbook-folio.md) - [Script-Like Foldable Display Screens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rollable-flex.md) - [Multifunctional Foldable Mobile Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/move-mobile-device.md) - [AR-Powered OLED Room Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vivid-oled-display.md) - [OLED Display Lantern Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rn-lantern.md) - [Display-Bearing Foldable Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-desks.md) - [Foldable Screen Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zenbook-17-fold-oled.md) - [Malleable Portable Monitor Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/asus-zenscreen-fold-oled.md)
