Although it's pretty uncommon to even think about leaving a bike unlocked in a busy city, it can be a pain to not only find a proper place to park it, but to carry around a lock while riding it. That's where this [foldable bike lock](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bosch-battery-lock) comes into play. It is made out of [Grade 5 titanium](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nanomax) and weighs just 560 gram (about 1.3 pounds).

Manufactured out of Bethlehem, PA, the folding bike lock was conceived by Altor co-founder and CEO Dylan Cato. He identified a growing problem other companies are perpetuating for increased bike security: bigger and thicker steel locks. By changing up the material, he was able to create something that is significantly lighter and stronger than traditional designs.
