It is a historic piece of design honoring Renaissance creativity at its finest. The set is detailed and set to officially launch to the public on January 1st. It is modeled after the [artist's ornithopter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-ideas-bob-ross), which was a bird-like contraption that he had created to further explore human-powered flight. The set features 493 pieces and it comes with wings covered in textiles that can be flapped. There is also a tail mechanism-driven by a range of strings, hinges, and a pulley system, which is a reflection of the original sketches made by da Vinci.
