The 'Flying Lamp' has been designed by the Copenhagen-based Boris Berlin design studio for the [Made by Hand](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/other-matter-leather) company as a sculptural illuminator perfect for playfully elevating the aesthetic of any space.

The lamp will call to mind the sculptural form of a wide brimmed hat and [appears to hang in midair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lp-lamp) thanks to its subtle aluminum frame. The entire unit is covered with a 3D knit fabric that stretches around the frame and has an LED on the interior to offer a crisp level of light that will filter through the fabric in a soft, illusory way.

The 'Flying Lamp' keeps sustainability in the spotlight thanks to the aforementioned use of 3D knit fabric that contributes towards a waste-free manufacturing experience.
