The Chili Crisp Vinaigreet is a Sichuan mother sauce and is crafted with a precise balance of salt, fat, acid, and heat. The sauce is rounded out with nutty roasted sesame oil and finished with a touch of sweetness. “It was the at-home recipe for Chili Crisp Vinaigrette I shared with Sam Sifton featured in the NYT that catapulted Fly By Jing into mainstream awareness back in 2020.
