Designed to work with almost any toilet, the kit works by being affixed into the [tank of your toilet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-toilets) and removing the analog parts. As like the original toilet design from Kohler, users can then simply wave their hand over the sensor to activate the flushing mechanism. This helps to reduce the amount of contact people have with the toilet and subsequently help to stop the spread of germs. The Kohler Touchless Flush Kit is designed to be implemented into a variety of different toilets and surprisingly only takes about 20-minutes maximum to install. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.0/10 - Popularity: 11% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Touchless-flush Technology:** The trend towards touchless-flush technology presents opportunities for companies to create innovative and convenient solutions to reduce the spread of germs in public restrooms. - **Smart Home Bathroom Technology:** The rise of touchless flush kits is part of a larger trend towards integrating smart home technology into bathroom fixtures, opening up opportunities for companies to develop new smart bathroom innovations. - **Hygiene-conscious Designs:** The demand for touchless toilet flush kits reflects a growing consumer preference for hygiene-conscious designs in everyday products, creating opportunities for companies to design and market products that prioritize cleanliness and health. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Plumbing:** The plumbing industry can leverage touchless flush kits to offer innovative solutions for both residential and commercial customers, improving hygiene and convenience in bathroom fixtures. - **Home Improvement:** The touchless flush kit market presents a disruptive opportunity for the home improvement industry, as companies can offer easy-to-install solutions that upgrade existing toilets with touchless technology, appealing to health-conscious consumers. - **Smart Home Technology:** The touchless flush kit industry aligns with the smart home technology industry, providing opportunities for companies to create seamless integration of touchless features in bathroom fixtures and expand their smart home product lines. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Futuristic Intelligent Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intelligent-toilet.md) - [Eco Toilet Cleaning Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loo-starter-kit.md) - [Feature-Packed Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neolet.md) - [Toilet Health Monitors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dekoda-camera.md) - [Smart Bidet Toilet Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/e930.md) - [Hygienic Handsfree Toilet Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toilet-lid-closer.md) - [Hygienic Auto-Flushing Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/close-the-lid-toilet.md) - [Health-Tracking Toilet Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kohler-dekoda.md) - [Brutalist Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-02.md)
