# Fluid Faucets Zaha Hadid's Sinuous Bathroom Design for Triflow is Mesmerizing By Elsa Blaine | Published 2009-01-31 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluid-faucets-zaha-hadid-for-triflow References: [dezeen](http://www.dezeen.com/2009/01/30/triflow-tap-by-zaha-hadid/#more-24215) & [triflow](http://www.triflow.com/) Architect Zaha Hadid has designed this stunning faucet for UK-based company Triflow. The tap’s fluid shape was inspired by flowing water. The handle is built in seamlessly at the tip, making the piece look like one continuous liquid stream. The point where the swivel action takes place is situated halfway up the spout and as it pivots, new sinuous forms evolve. Filtered water is set in motion with a [touch-sensitive button](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chicago-faucet-company). The faucet is actually a sleek chrome-plated piece of sculpture for the home, and would look fabulous in an [ultra-modern kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jema-collection) or a contemporary bathroom. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 46% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Sinuous Faucet Design:** Designing fluid-shaped faucets for contemporary spaces. - **Touch-sensitive Water Management:** Developing water faucets with touch-sensitive buttons for creating filtered water wave. - **Seamless Tap Design:** Designing taps with built-in handle for creating a continuous liquid stream. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Improvement:** Creating innovative and elegant home hardware and plumbing fixtures. - **Interior Design:** Incorporating modern and visually appealing design elements into home and office spaces. - **Sustainability:** Developing innovative water management systems for reducing waste and promoting efficiency. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stealthy Limited-Edition Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-01.md) - [Abstract Industrial Faucet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-01-faucet.md) - [Geometrically Inspired Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fantini-oxy.md) - [Contemporary Sleek Mixer Taps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/botte-mixer.md) - [Sculptural Brass-Constructed Mixer Taps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faro-mixer.md) - [Designer Water Purifier Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumos-water-purifier.md) - [Sleek Geometry-Inspired Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oxy.md) - [Colorful Resin Faucet Handles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chromablock.md) - [Demure Hand Shower Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bell-jar-shower-head.md)
