Instead of using regular clothespins, twist ties, twine and other DIY solutions for encouraging stem growth along stakes, the Whatever Works Garden collection offers these plastic clasps that diverge from their laundry line antecedents with a simple opening of the clutch. The user-friendly design allows enough space between the pincers to fit a dowel and a burgeoning branch or stalk. They're easy to open, firm to fasten and come in the color green to blend into the leaves of your [herbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/herb-storage-container). Designed for [smaller plants that require early training](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilt-planter), Flower and Vine Clips will guide plants along your preferred angle to mature to the shape and height you desire. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 17% | Activity: 21% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **User-friendly Gardening Tools:** The Flower and Vine Clips demonstrate the trend of user-friendly gardening tools that offer simple and effective solutions for plant care. - **Plant Training Accessories:** These plastic clasps showcase the trend of specialized accessories designed to help guide and shape plant growth for desired outcomes. - **Sustainable Garden Supplies:** The use of plastic clasps instead of disposable materials reflects the trend towards more sustainable gardening supplies. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Gardening Supplies:** The Flower and Vine Clips provide opportunities for innovation in the gardening supplies industry, especially in the development of user-friendly, plant training tools. - **Home and Garden Retail:** Retailers in the home and garden industry can explore the demand for specialized accessories like the Flower and Vine Clips that enhance the gardening experience. - **Sustainability Products:** The use of sustainable materials in gardening products, such as the plastic clasps, opens up opportunities for innovation in the sustainability products industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrant Dynamic Wall Plant-Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floos.md) - [Note Clip Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/note-clip.md) - [Expanding Garment Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-hanger.md) - [Smart Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tendril-1.md) - [Plant Care Tool Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prick-ldn.md) - [Vertical Workstation Wall Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-wall-planter.md) - [Crinkle Fry-Inspired Clips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fries-clips.md) - [Clipping Pen Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-clippen.md) - [Monitor-Mounted Vine Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monitree.md)
