Designed by Miguel Herranz, the sink has been achieved through the use of robotic machinery that expertly cuts through the stone to ensure the integrity of the block is kept without changing the look too much. Coming in [wall-mounted and countertop versions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archiplan-compact-basin-collection), the sink can be purchased in six different kinds of [natural stone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-frammenti) to achieve the right look in your space. The 'Flow' washbasin is available for purchase from Nerinea and was explained by Herranz who said, "In the design of this sink I have fled from flat or revolution forms. The mechanized by means of robot of this piece achieves to emphasize the nobility and the purity coming from the original block, revealing through its volume the natural essence of the stone." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 64% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Naturalistic Bathroom Fixtures:** With the use of robotic machinery, bathroom fixtures are now able to achieve a stronger visual aesthetic that focuses on naturalistic designs. - **Robotic Stone Cutting:** Robotic machinery has revolutionized the way stone cutting is done, ensuring the integrity of the block is kept while achieving unique designs. - **Customizable Stone Sinks:** The availability of six different kinds of natural stone allows for sinks to be customized to fit different preferences and styles. ### Where This Applies - **Home Improvement:** The use of robotic machinery allows for the creation of unique naturalistic bathroom fixtures that can upgrade any home's aesthetic. - **Stone and Marble Manufacturing:** Robotic stone cutting technology can revolutionize stone and marble manufacturing by creating intricate designs faster and more efficiently. - **Interior Design:** Customizable sinks with naturalistic designs can be used by interior designers to create unique and visually appealing bathrooms for their clients. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Marble Slab Washbasins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/piano-washbasin.md) - [Angular Ceramic Sink Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/angle-washbasin.md) - [Dynamic Marble Sink Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infinito.md) - [Artful Artisanal Marble Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handchiseled-marble-basin.md) - [Collaborative Seashell-Like Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spire-washbasin.md) - [Playful Concrete Wash Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kast-wave-collection.md) - [Water Flow-Inspired Kiln Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volta-collection.md) - [Ultra-Modern Freestanding Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freestanding-sink.md) - [Electric Kiln-Made Unique Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volta-1.md)
