The ultra-modern chair consists of connected tubular components that combine to create a ridged finish that surrounds a cubic cushion for the base and backrest. The armrests on the chair have a furled design that leaves a hollow interior space that's perfect for cats to climb into, which could eliminate the need for a formal cat condo or tower. The Flow Single Sofa responds to the needs of pet owners and helps them to maintain the style of their living space with ultra-modern pieces, while still keeping their companions comfortable. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 15% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Pet-friendly Furniture:** Designing furniture pieces that cater to the needs of pets, specifically cats. - **Multi-purpose Furniture:** Creating furniture that serves more than just one purpose; in this case, providing comfort for both the owner and their furry friends. - **Connected Furniture Design:** Incorporating modular and connected components that allow for customization and personalization of furniture pieces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** The furniture industry can explore ways to create customized designs that cater to pet owners without compromising style and comfort. - **Pet Products:** The pet industry can collaborate with furniture designers to create cat-friendly furniture that provides comfort and security for cats. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can look into integrating pet-friendly furniture that blends in with the existing aesthetic of the living space. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cat-Friendly Seat Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jingcyuan-tang.md) - [Modular Cat-Friendly Couches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quarter-sofa.md) - [Pet Bed-Equipped Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sharing-joy-armchair.md) - [Modular Feline-Friendly Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-couch-concept.md) - [Posh Pet-Friendly Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quella-chair.md) - [Modular Storage-Equipped Pet Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-sofa.md) - [Posh Pet-Friendly Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arch-chair-design.md) - [Contemporary Cat Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Cat-Furniture-1.md) - [Modern House Pet Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/choo-choo-console.md)
