# Puzzle Piece Furniture The Flow Coffee Tables are Jigsaw-Inspired By Allison Love | Published 2010-06-21 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flow-coffee-tables References: [bornrich.org](http://www.bornrich.org/entry/flow-modular-coffee-table-lends-grace-to-contemporary-interiors/) & [design-milk](http://design-milk.com/flow-modular-coffee-table/) These Flow coffee tables are pretty interesting looking because they interlock together to create [different configurations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loopo-system). The tables can be put together to create one giant coffee table or a bunch of smaller tables. I really like the design of these Flow coffee tables because they're [intricate](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solis-collection), but can also have that simplistic look about them. You could make a pretty cool dining room table by connecting four or five of these Flow [coffee tables together](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expand-furniture). It's a great design that makes coffee tables a bit more interesting to look at. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Interlocking Furniture:** The puzzle piece design of Flow coffee tables presents opportunities for creating interlocking furniture for various purposes. - **Modular Furniture:** The ability of Flow coffee tables to be combined in different configurations offers potential for the development of modular furniture that can adapt to different spaces and needs. - **Versatile Design:** The versatility and adaptability of Flow coffee tables' design inspire opportunities for creating furniture pieces that can serve multiple functions in different settings. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The puzzle piece concept of Flow coffee tables can be extended to other furniture types, providing innovative solutions for the furniture manufacturing industry. - **Interior Design:** The modular and versatile nature of Flow coffee tables opens up possibilities for interior designers to create unique and customizable spaces. - **Event Planning:** The interlocking feature of Flow coffee tables presents disruptive innovation opportunities for event planners in creating flexible and adaptable seating arrangements. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Puzzling Removable Tray Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conceptual-puzzle-table.md) - [Organic Abstract Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flow-family.md) - [Wavy Sculptural Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables.md) - [Puzzling Geometric Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linked-side-table.md) - [Optically-Designed Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enigma-coffee-tables.md) - [Dynamic Coffee Table Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ryb-coffee-table.md) - [Harmonious Helical Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vortex-coffee-table.md) - [Fluid Topographic Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-table.md) - [Jigsaw Puzzle-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puzzle-shelf.md)
