When summer finally rolls around and the temperatures rise to an almost unbearable heat, people will wish the Flow 5.0 [art installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/remembering-the-future) was based in their city and not Bentonville, Arkansas. Unless, of course, a person is from Bentonville. It is a massive, [freestanding wall of fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iwagumi-air-scape) that produces a very [fine breeze](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreo-turbocool-misting-fan-series).

Created by Dutch artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde, the Flow 5.0 installation was recently acquired by 21c, a chain of hybrid contemporary art museums and boutique hotels. Although it may seem like a waste of good energy, Flow 5.0 boasts built-in sensors that trigger the fans when someone is nearby. The rest of the time they turn on and off randomly to create a series of patterns and even spell out the word 'AIR' to the delight of passersby.
