The result is a humorous amalgamation of comical situations leveraging the personalities the princesses are known for to make the situation that much more humorous. The mug shots are an unusual portrayal of the cartoon princesses that are often known for their good doing and sweetly innocent nature. The mug shots showcase the princesses weeping or looking incredibly audacious along with witty captions inspired by ones seen in the news. For example, Sleeping Beauty is seen crying in her police shot with the caption, "Once upon a time, a princess named Aurora got some dust in her eye and went to use some eye drops." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Creative Illustrations:** Exploring the use of illustrations to create humorous and unexpected portrayals. - **Satirical News:** Using iconic characters in fictional news headlines for comedic effect. - **Character Subversion:** Subverting the usual traits of beloved characters to create humorous and unexpected scenarios. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Entertainment:** Creating new and unique interpretations of popular characters to engage audiences. - **Digital Media:** Using digital platforms to disseminate satirical content and engage with online communities. - **Art and Design:** Exploring creative and unconventional methods of storytelling through illustrations and character portrayal. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dairytale Bridal Tributes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-wedding-dresses-1.md) - [Whimsical Character-Inspired Statement Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aldo-x-disney.md) - [Soft-Colored Disney Apparel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinderella-capsule.md) - [Princess-Themed Lip Glosses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultra-glossy-lip.md) - [Fairytale-Inspired Fragrances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-enchanting-collection.md) - [Enchanting Classic-Animation-Inspired Jewelry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/girls-crew.md) - [Collaboration Cartoon Biscuit Ranges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biscuiteers-x-disney-collection.md) - [Diverse African Doll Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creativesoul.md) - [Melting Apple-Shaped Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poison-apple-mug.md)
