# Floating Spa Resorts Studio Noach and Anne Holtrop Design an Eco-Friendly Relaxation Haven By Brian G Randles | Published 2010-02-23 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floating-spa References: [archdaily](http://www.archdaily.com/49895/floating-gardens-studio-noach-holtrop/) During the 'Architecture of Consequence' in the Netherlands, this floating spa concept will be on display. Studio Noach and Anne Holtrop developed this floating spa, which utilizes the idea of a '[living wall](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dibdo-francis-kr)' and has an interior which contains [baths, saunas and treatment rooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/round-about-baths). I don't know if it would be better to vacation here or to just go ahead and order a plot for when my last day comes. Either way, I have no doubt that relaxation would not be hard to come by at this place. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 68% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Eco-friendly Spa Resorts:** Developing floating spa resorts that prioritize sustainability and eco-friendly design. - **Living Wall Architecture:** Incorporating 'living wall' designs into architecture projects to create a unique and natural environment. - **Floating Architecture:** Exploring the concept of floating buildings to maximize space utilization and create innovative structures. ### Who This Affects Most - **Hospitality & Tourism:** Creating eco-friendly floating spa resorts that offer unique and sustainable vacation experiences. - **Architecture & Design:** Incorporating 'living wall' designs into architectural projects to enhance aesthetics and eco-friendliness. - **Construction & Engineering:** Developing technologies and techniques for constructing innovative and stable floating buildings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Reflection-Inducing Floating Saunas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trosten-floating-sauna.md) - [Tranquil Reimagined Wellness Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ziedlejas.md) - [Floating Sauna Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/watercave.md) - [Comprehensive Spa Wellness Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spa-wellness-experience.md) - [Ultra-Immersive Spa Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spa-dome.md) - [Ocean-Centric Portable Jacuzzis](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacuzzi.md) - [Waterside Retreat Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bora-boral.md) - [Healing Architecture Spa Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inns-of-aurora.md) - [Shipping Container Floating Saunas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fjord-floating-sauna.md)
