However, instead of hanging flames of fire around your home, these candlesticks are topped with [little light bulbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-bulb) to brighten up a room. The design is very detailed to make the candles look as authentic as possible. The sticks are made to look as though wax is dripping down the sides. These [floating candle string lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/govee-outdoor-solar-string-lights) can be hung inside or outside, so if you and your significant other want to enjoy the outdoors these lights set a lovely and enchanting tone. Further, this set of 10 [faux candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-table-decoration) add a vintage appeal to a room since it’s very rare to see candles as the main source of light in a home, regardless of if they’re fire or not. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.5/10 - Popularity: 2% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Floating Candle String Lights:** Create a romantic ambiance with floating candle string lights that mimic the look of real candles. - **Authentic Design:** The detailed design of the floating candle string lights adds a realistic touch to enhance the ambiance. - **Vintage Appeal:** Using faux candles as the main source of light in a room adds a nostalgic and vintage feel to the space. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can capitalize on the trend of floating candle string lights to offer romantic lighting options for customers. - **Lighting:** The lighting industry can explore innovative ways to create unique and realistic-looking candle-themed lights for various settings. - **Event Planning:** Event planners can incorporate floating candle string lights to create a romantic and enchanting atmosphere for weddings, parties, and other special occasions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Candle-Inspired Lightbulbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velaflame.md) - [Smart Fairy Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-fairy-lights.md) - [Romantic Serotonin-Boosting Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dolce-far-niente-candle.md) - [Romantic Modern Lighting Sources](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wick-s.md) - [Warm Ambient Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reflet.md) - [Romance-Inspired Candle Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/romanceinspired-candle.md) - [Romantic Fragrant Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floral-scented-candle.md) - [Luxurious Sculptural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-candle-holders.md) - [Mosquito-Repelling Outdoor String Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-string-lights.md)
