It was designed by an architect named Narein Perera with the purpose of being rented for entertainment. The elevated deck extending off the side of the hill makes quite a view of the entire greenery. Its floating design makes an interesting combination of being eco-friendly and providing a playful environment. It also has maximum privacy for guests to enjoy within any time of the day to themselves. This floating bungalow would be an adventurous vacation experience rather than staying at a typical hotel. For those who enjoy being outdoors and want to try something new, this home is great for renting during a long vacation. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 38% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Floating Bungalow Homes:** Designing and constructing floating bungalow homes as unique vacation experiences. - **Eco-friendly Architecture:** Developing eco-friendly bungalow designs that blend seamlessly with natural surroundings. - **Outdoor Vacation Experiences:** Catering to the growing demand for adventurous and outdoor vacation experiences. ### Who This Affects Most - **Hospitality:** Creating floating bungalow resorts to offer guests a unique and immersive vacation experience. - **Architecture:** Incorporating sustainable floating designs in architectural projects to create eco-friendly structures. - **Tourism:** Promoting outdoor vacation experiences and floating bungalow rentals as a new trend in the tourism industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Waterside Retreat Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bora-boral.md) - [Modern Floating Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pura-vida-floating-home.md) - [Floating River Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floating-river-cabin.md) - [Dolphin-Shaped Tranquil Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dolphin-villa.md) - [Floating Courtyard Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baan-oo.md) - [Flax Fiber Floating Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blue-nomad.md) - [Tranquil Shoppable Bungalows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-robert-mckinley.md) - [Nature-Immersive Tranquil Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treehouse-villas.md) - [Nature-Inspired Floral Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blue-water-lily.md)
