The shelf is both user-friendly and unconventional, standing as a source of intrigue that combats standard notions of the mundane bedroom staple. The two part, wall-hung fixture contains a wooden piece which protrudes from under the books, while a slightly smaller metal piece, hides under the books, still offering support. The result creates the illusion that the books are [floating in mid-air](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lp-lamp).
