The [round hanging bed](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roundish-bed) is ideal for lounging, whether indoors or outside. The added [rocking motion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ensven-modular-bed-rocker) is perfect for drifting off the sleep. If you add a canopy to it, you can sleep outdoors for hours without worrying about getting too much sun. The floating bed comes with a bed, ceiling-hanging hardware, foam fabric padding for the metallic bed hoop (made out of stainless steel), a custom made round memory foam mattress and its zippered cover. The weather and water resistant furniture comes in different sizes for added comfort, fitting double, queen or king mattresses. This is ideal if you like to sprawl out while napping or if you want to fit more than one person onto the bed. Just make sure the bed is properly hung from the ceiling to avoid injury or roof damage. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Special](https://www.trendhunter.com/special) > [Holiday](https://www.trendhunter.com/holiday) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Circular Ceiling Beds:** The trend of circular ceiling beds offers disruptive innovation opportunities for the furniture industry to create unique and versatile bed designs, catering to the increasing demand for innovative and space-saving furniture solutions. - **Island-inspired Hammock Beds:** The trend of island-inspired hammock beds presents disruptive innovation opportunities for the outdoor furniture industry to develop comfortable and durable floating beds that provide a unique and relaxing outdoor lounging experience. - **Rocking Motion Beds:** The trend of rocking motion beds opens up disruptive innovation opportunities for the sleep industry to create innovative sleep solutions that promote deeper and more restful sleep by incorporating gentle rocking motion into the design. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture:** The furniture industry has the opportunity to embrace circular ceiling beds and create innovative designs that combine comfort, style, and versatility. - **Outdoor Furniture:** The outdoor furniture industry can capitalize on the trend of island-inspired hammock beds and create durable and weather-resistant floating bed options that enhance the outdoor relaxation experience. - **Sleep:** The sleep industry can leverage the trend of rocking motion beds to develop innovative sleep products that provide calming and soothing motion to improve sleep quality and promote overall wellness. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Elegant Exterior Lounge Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lounge-bed.md) - [Floating Multi-Person Water Hammocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/water-hammock.md) - [Omni-Position Camping Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/float-tent.md) - [Oversized Floating Water Hammocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bote-hangout-15.md) - [Circular Panoramic Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hastens-and-doolittle-house.md) - [Scandinavian-Inspired Floating Daybeds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poolsofa.md) - [Wooden Structural Outdoor Bedes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hut-lounge-bed.md) - [Bubble-Shaped Cribs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bubble-baby-bed.md) - [Heavy-Duty Hammock Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heavyduty-hammock-tent.md)
