Australia-based Articolo is committed to producing Australian-made pieces with innovative and unique designs. As the newest addition to its lineup, the pieces in Float do just that. Available as a wall sconce or [hanging lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loops-lamp), the designs are elegant and slender. The lamps come in either a frosted white or stunning emerald green. Due to the lamp's elongated shape, the light that it emits is ethereal and melts into the surrounding walls. The shade can also be easily removed for cleaning. Each piece from Articolo is handmade and designed with care in mind. Articolo founder Nicci Green says, "When something is made by hand, you can feel the soul that went into it." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 68% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Handcrafted Minimalist Lamps:** Opportunity for artisans to create unique and innovative designs in the lighting industry. - **Australian-made Pieces:** Opportunity for Australian businesses to promote locally-made products and support the local economy. - **Ethereal Lighting Design:** Opportunity to create lighting designs that blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Artisan Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunities for artisans to create handcrafted lamps with unique designs. - **Home Decor:** Opportunity to offer customers elegant and minimalist lighting options for their homes. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity to incorporate ethereal lighting designs into interior spaces, creating a unique ambiance for clients. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hat-Like Fabric Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flying-lamp.md) - [Hand-Cast Crystal Glowing Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nola-lamp.md) - [Illuminating Stone-Made Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nau-design.md) - [Balloon-Like Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-blown.md) - [Sculptural Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp.md) - [Floating Illusion Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lp-lamp.md) - [Otherworldly Lighting Fixture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otherworldly-lighting-fixture.md) - [Minimally Designed Ethereal Pendants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightmass.md) - [Delicate Illusory Ceiling Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aria-light.md)
