Computer towers can be boring, bulky and just plain ugly, unless they get the special treatment like Flightline by Jeffrey Stephenson, a hobbyist computer designer based in Mcalpin, Florida. As impressive as his past [Mondrian Mini-ITX Case](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mondrian-mini-itx-case) and [Mission-Style PC Case](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mission-style-pc-case), it was inspired by the Wright Brothers Memorial at Kitty Hawk in North Carolina, specifically the grandson of the monument's designer.

Taking on an [art deco sunburst aesthetic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bang-olufsen-atelier-art-deco-limited-edition), Flightline by Jeffrey Stephenson is made out of 167 pieces of [handcut veneer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/montech-xr-wood). The designer states, "Flightline is made from quilted maple, maple burl, mahogany, lacewood and aircraft grade birch plywood." Now a [desk ornament](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arnardo-desk), it is stunningly sculptural. Soon people will be knocking on Stephenson's door in order to have one of their own.
