Carrying around a pair of roller blades with you everywhere can be heavy and a hassle, but these attachable wheels make it exponentially easier on you and your shoulders. The Flashing Roller Skates roll on two wheels that are secured with [Velcro](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plastic-pallet-boxes). Though this may seem like a child's toy at first, these blades are suitable for ages eight and up. Unlike regular roller blades or skates, there are only two wheels, one on each side, so a little extra practice may be required. These add-ons are comparatively smaller that the traditional clunky rollers so they can be stowed away easily. Without the heavy baggage, commuters can travel in a more relaxed manner with a lightweight pack. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 84% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Transportation](https://www.trendhunter.com/transportation) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Attachable Wheels:** The development of attachable wheels presents an opportunity for innovative transportation solutions that are convenient and easy to carry. - **Lightweight Mobility:** The trend towards lightweight mobility devices opens up possibilities for creating products that enhance convenience and reduce physical strain. - **Compact Roller Skates:** The emergence of compact roller skates provides a disruptive innovation opportunity to create user-friendly, space-saving options for recreational and commuting purposes. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Sporting Goods:** The sporting goods industry can explore the attachable wheels trend to develop new products that offer enhanced mobility experiences. - **Outdoor Recreation:** The outdoor recreation industry can leverage the lightweight mobility trend to design and market portable, easy-to-use equipment for outdoor activities. - **Personal Transportation:** The personal transportation industry can capitalize on the compact roller skates trend by creating innovative transportation solutions that are compact, lightweight, and convenient. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Motorized Inline Skate Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/escend-blades.md) - [Motorized Electric Roller Skates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rollwalk-electric-roller-skates.md) - [Electric Inline Skates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atmosgear.md) - [Walking Assistance Roller Skates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-roller-skates.md) - [Rugged All-Terrain Rollerblades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/allterrain-rollerblades.md) - [Backpack-Adhering Skateboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnetic-skateboard.md) - [Ultra-Fast Walking Shoes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shift-robotics-moonwalkers.md) - [Transforming Commuter Kick Scooters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beam-scooter.md) - [See-Through Ride-On Suitcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airwheel-suitcase.md)
