The Flash Voyager by [Corsair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ex400u-survivor) will cost you about $229. It's plug and play, includes [True Crypt security application](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touchlock-unlocks-drives), and is ReadyBoostâ„¢ compatible. Yeah, yeah, yeah but, the big thing is, it holds more than some people's hard drives. **Implications** - Those in the technological industry are aware of how quickly everything changes, with industry standards switched up daily. Thus, even the smallest innovation, like a USB key, needs an update every once in awhile. Expanding on the amount of space included on a flash drive is a perfect update, as it falls in line with the reinvention of other digital and technological products. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.0/10 - Popularity: 3% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Increased Flash Drive Capacity:** Expanding the amount of space included on flash drives presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the digital storage industry. - **Plug-and-play Technology:** The integration of plug-and-play functionality in flash drives opens up possibilities for disruptive innovation in the consumer electronics industry. - **Data Security Applications:** Integrating advanced security features, like True Crypt, into flash drives creates opportunities for disruptive innovation in the cybersecurity industry. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Digital Storage:** The expansion of flash drive capacity can revolutionize the digital storage industry and transform how data is stored and accessed. - **Consumer Electronics:** The plug-and-play technology in flash drives has the potential to disrupt the consumer electronics industry by simplifying device connectivity and data transfer. - **Cybersecurity:** The integration of data security applications in flash drives can disrupt the cybersecurity industry by providing portable and secure storage solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ruggedly Encrypted USB Drives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/encrypted-usb-drive.md) - [Dedicated Encryption Storage Keys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lexar-jumpdrive-fingerprint-f35-pro.md) - [Smart Secure Storage Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ironkey-vault-privacy-80es.md) - [Icon-Shaped USB Drives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folderdrive.md) - [Upgraded Flash Drive Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/raspberry-pi-flash-drive.md) - [Object-Resembling USB Drives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandisk-1.md) - [Ironclad Encryption Storage Drives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kingston-ironkey-vault-privacy-50.md) - [Portable SSD Storage Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ssd-storage-device.md) - [Ultra-Fast Pocket-Sized SSDs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kingston-xs2000-ssd.md)
