With its cleverly shaped glass mountains, the Fishscape is decorative in itself without the addition of [aquatic plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-terrarium). Many people like to provide some sort of scenery for their pet fish, even if it means fake greens and toys; the Fishscape doesn't require any of that because of its landscape-mimicking shape. The bowl has a textured interior landscape that is modern yet organic in appeal. It provides you with the view of a miniature oceanic ridge. Just as furniture design is becoming more modern, so are [fish bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-jellyfish). This specific design is clever because it makes fish-keeping relatively low-maintenance, giving you one less thing to purchase or worry about. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Minimalist Fish-keeping:** Fish bowls are becoming more minimalist in design, requiring fewer accessories for maintenance and decoration. - **Organic Interior Landscapes:** Fish bowls are being designed with interior landscapes that mimic natural geological formations, providing a modern yet organic appeal. - **Simplifying Pet Care:** Pet accessories are being designed to simplify care and maintenance, freeing up time and resources for pet owners. ### Where This Applies - **Pet Care:** The pet care industry can explore designing more simplified and low-maintenance accessories for pets. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can explore incorporating more minimalist and organic designs, such as the Fishscape fish bowl, into their product offerings. - **Furniture Design:** Furniture designers can explore creating more modern and minimalist designs, like the Fishscape fish bowl, for pet accessories. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fish Tank-Inspired Japanese Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nao-iwanari.md) - [Dynamic Colored Glass Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tip-top-glass.md) - [Futuristic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-klaustrafloria.md) - [Compact Microclimate Terrariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microclimate-terrariums.md) - [Display-Centric Dynamic Fruit Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circuit.md) - [Ocean-Inspired Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-coralshaped-vase.md) - [Minimalist Illusory Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaso-gota-vase.md) - [Impressive DIY Terrariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-terrarium1.md) - [Natural Moss Terrariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petite-foret-plus.md)
