# Aerial Fire Station Photos These Aerial Images of a Fire Station Make Firefighters Look Miniature By Christopher Magsambol | Published 2015-11-05 | Updated 2015-11-09 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-station-photo References: [ignant.de](http://www.ignant.de/2015/11/05/daily-life-of-firemen-from-above-captured-by-chan-dick/) & [chandick.hk](http://chandick.hk/) This fire station photo series by Chan Dick is taken from a unique aerial perspective. Dick accidentally stumbled upon his distinct view of the fire station while at work. When looking down through a ventilation window, he was given a direct [bird's eye view](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drifting-stones) of a nearby fire station. Dick began photographing from this angle and discovered many things he never knew about the job of firefighters. Apart from physical training, Dick found it impressive that the firemen also played volleyball, washed firetrucks, and helped guide tours of students. Visually, this unique point of view makes it look as though the [fire station photographs are miniature toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-digital-toy-camera). The photographs deceptively trick the eye into thinking that photos are [carefully constructed dioramas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/still-life-1). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.4/10 - Popularity: 2% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Customization](https://www.trendhunter.com/customization) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Aerial Photography:** Opportunity to capture unique perspectives and explore unconventional angles using drone and aerial photography techniques. - **Miniaturization:** Potential for creating miniature or scaled-down versions of products or environments for aesthetic or artistic purposes. - **Visual Illusion:** Possibility to experiment with visual tricks and illusions to create captivating and thought-provoking photographs or artworks. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** Innovative applications of aerial photography can provide new opportunities for photographers to create stunning and impactful visuals. - **Toy Manufacturing:** Utilizing the concept of miniaturization can lead to the development of unique and engaging toy designs. - **Art and Design:** Exploring visual illusions can inspire artists and designers to create innovative and immersive installations or artworks. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pre-Fabricated Fire Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-station-67.md) - [Festive Light Painting Techniques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-painting-1.md) - [Next-Gen Wildfire Rescue Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/firefly-x01-fire-rescue-drone.md) - [Miniaturized Product Art Photographs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/small-muji.md) - [Rescue Architecture Concept](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lynx-1.md) - [Flame-Resistant Firefighting Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/firefighting-drones.md) - [Extreme-Heat Firefighting Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/firedrone-by-empa.md) - [Toy Brick-Inspired Studios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/curving-block.md) - [Miniature Artful Hip-Hop Landmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/danny-cortes.md)
