# Interactive Touch Lights Filimin is a WiFi-Enabled Devices Light That Glows with Others By John Harrison | Published 2015-05-05 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/filimin References: [filimin](http://filimin.com/press) & [filimin](http://filimin.com) 'Filimin' is a light that changes color with a single touch. It's a light that interacts with other lights by staying connected with them no matter the distance. Unlike any other light design, it connects users with the people they love in an authentic way. Each Filimin is WiFi-enabled so it can connect to a group of other Filimins. Your Filimin could be part of a group of Filimins belonging to your family. When one Filimin in the group lights up, all the other devices in the same group will also light up the same color. Geographic location does not matter -- your family’s Filimins will all glow together. If a member of your family then touches their Filimin, all of the Filimins in the group will change color more dramatically. Your family will know that one of you has responded. And with no further activity, your Filimins will fade to black within a couple of hours. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 31% | Activity: 42% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Wifi-enabled Lights:** WiFi-enabled lights that connect and interact with each other, creating a unique and authentic user experience. - **Group Light Interaction:** Lights that are part of a group can change color and respond to each other's touch, enabling communication and connection. - **Geographic-agnostic Lighting:** Lights that can connect and glow together regardless of their physical location, bringing people closer despite distance. ### Who This Affects Most - **Smart Home Technology:** Smart home technology industry can utilize WiFi-enabled lights to create innovative lighting solutions that enhance user experience and interactivity. - **Family Entertainment:** The family entertainment industry can incorporate group light interaction to enhance interactive games, create immersive experiences, and foster communication among family members. - **Connected Devices:** The connected devices industry can capitalize on the concept of geographic-agnostic lighting to develop products that promote connectivity, collaboration, and communication among users regardless of their physical location. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Interactive Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tangent-lamp.md) - [Malleable Connected Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pofu-lamp.md) - [Interactive Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tap-tap-table-lamp.md) - [Customizable Hexagonal Desk Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cololight-plus-hexagon-light-kit.md) - [Synced Bike Light Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bike-light-system.md) - [Connectable Motion-Detecting Nightlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wyze-led-night-light.md) - [Poetic Rippling Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yurameki.md) - [Festive Colorful Fairy Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/signify.md) - [Interactive Projection Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abusizz.md)
