The free-to-download app can be linked to a [Dropbox](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peony) account and with it, it's possible to share documents without the fear of them being copied, forwarded or downloaded by the recipient. On top of this, it's even possible to have your shared files self-destruct after a certain period of time, meaning that you can specify that a file can be viewed for as long as a minute or a span of months. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.0/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Secure File Sharing:** Digify offers a secure file sharing solution with options for limited access and self-destructing files. - **Controlled Document Distribution:** Digify allows users to retain control over important documents by preventing copying, forwarding, and downloading. - **Time-limited Document Viewing:** Digify introduces the concept of time-limited document viewing, enabling files to self-destruct after a specified period of time. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Cloud Storage Services:** Digify's integration with Dropbox highlights opportunities for other cloud storage services to enhance document security and control. - **Data Privacy and Protection:** The rise of private file-sharing apps like Digify emphasizes the need for industries focused on data privacy and protection to innovate and provide secure solutions. - **Enterprise File Management:** Digify's features present disruptive innovation opportunities in the enterprise file management industry, offering enhanced security and control over sensitive documents. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Private Video Sharing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/video-sharing1.md) - [Large File-Sharing Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/droppable.md) - [Ephemeral Image Sharing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sai-moments.md) - [Important Sharing Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-finhapp.md) - [Serverless File Sharing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/filefling.md) - [Private Social Photo Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-app.md) - [Large File Transfers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/large-file.md) - [Instant File Transfers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/speedy-share.md) - [Instant Text Sharing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/textshare-without-logins.md)
