The nuggets are made with whole food ingredients including wheat, roasted garlic and pea protein that work to deliver 14 grams of protein per serving. The frozen nuggets are also free from soy, artificial ingredients and GMOs, while still having a taste and texture just like conventional chicken nuggets. President of [Greenleaf Foods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vegan-breakfast-sandwich) Dan Curtin spoke on the new Field Roast Plant-Based Nuggets saying, "Remember the joy that a chicken nugget could bring you as a kid? We’re bringing that back with an absolutely delicious plant-based nugget that’s easy to prepare, flavorful on its own, yet still stands up to dips and sauces. And they’re not just for kids—adults are going to crave these, too.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 12% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Marketing](https://www.trendhunter.com/marketing) > [Branding](https://www.trendhunter.com/branding) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Increased Demand for Plant-based Foods:** Brands can capitalize on the growing demand for plant-based foods by creating accessible and familiar alternatives like the Field Roast Plant-Based Nuggets. - **Whole Food Ingredients:** Innovative companies can develop products using whole food ingredients, such as wheat, roasted garlic, and pea protein, to cater to health-conscious consumers looking for nutritious options like the Field Roast Plant-Based Nuggets. - **Soy-free and Gmo-free Products:** Creating soy-free and GMO-free alternatives like the Field Roast Plant-Based Nuggets can tap into the market of consumers who have dietary restrictions or preferences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Plant-based Food Industry:** The plant-based food industry can expand by introducing more family-friendly options like the Field Roast Plant-Based Nuggets to meet the needs of health-conscious consumers. - **Frozen Food Industry:** The frozen food industry can embrace the trend of plant-based foods by developing innovative frozen alternatives like the Field Roast Plant-Based Nuggets for quick and convenient meals. - **Food Manufacturing Industry:** Opportunities exist in the food manufacturing industry to create soy-free, GMO-free, and whole food-based products like the Field Roast Plant-Based Nuggets that cater to a wider range of dietary preferences and restrictions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Plant-Based Foodservice Nuggets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mycoprotein-nuggets.md) - [Pea-Based Vegan Nuggets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vegan-nugget.md) - [Protein-Packed Meatless Nuggets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plantbased-nugget.md) - [Kid-Friendly Plant-Based Foods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/impossible-foods-product.md) - [Plant-Based Taco-Friendly Nuggets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheesy-nacho-nuggs.md) - [Bean-Based Nuggets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meatless-nugget.md) - [Eco-Friendly Chicken Nuggets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wild-nuggies.md) - [Vegan-Friendly Frozen Foods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garden-gourmet.md) - [Prehistoric Free-From Chicken Nuggets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dino-nuggets.md)
