Working almost like a rocket launcher, the 'HurriK9' looks and acts like a gun; the ammo (ring) is loaded and cocked (pulled) into position. When shot, the 'HurriK9' will launch the ring over 100-feet and offer dogs an easy to fetch object that owners won't mind shooting over and over. The 'HurriK9' fetch toy is currently being funded on [Kickstarter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outtask-jessigo-outdogs-airpad) where the fun product has nearly quadrupled the funding goal it was seeking. The 'HurriK9' can work at the park, in the backyard and even in [wet conditions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blossom-pets) to make exercise a top priority for both dogs and dog owners. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.0/10 - Popularity: 70% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Aerodynamic Dog Toys:** The 'HurriK9' fetch toy demonstrates the potential for innovative, aerodynamic designs in the pet toy industry. ### Who This Affects Most - **Pet Toy Industry:** The 'HurriK9' fetch toy presents an opportunity for disruption in the pet toy industry, encouraging the development of more advanced and engaging toys for dogs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Obstacle Avoidance Pet Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uahpet-iretriever-dog-ball-launcher.md) - [Zoomie-Inducing Dog Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plushdog-toy.md) - [Adjustable Gripper Dog Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fetchpro.md) - [Glow-in-the-Dark Dog Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-dog-glow.md) - [Ergonomic Dog Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/earth-rated-dog-toy-collection.md) - [Floating Stone-Like Dog Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kurgo-skipping-stones.md) - [Oversized Spherical Dog Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/herding-ball.md) - [Waterproof Dog Tug Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tug-e-nuff.md) - [Geometric Designer Dog Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sphericon-dog-chew-toy.md)
