This allows them to get input from others and develop their preaching skills. Organized by the Kentucky-based [Academy of Preachers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charitable-backtoschool-campaign), the sixth annual edition of the festival aims to connect aspiring [Christian](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zero-collective) preachers help them hone their craft in a welcoming atmosphere. More than 130 [young preachers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/young-scientist-challenge), largely between the ages of 14 and 28, are taking part in this year's edition. What's interesting about the National Festival of Young Preachers is that it welcomes preachers from different sub-denominations. This also means the feedback delivered by experienced preachers doesn't focus on doctrine, rather the art of preaching itself. Ultimately, this festival serves as a great way for young people of different Christian sub-denominations to learn from each other and communicate their interpretation of the faith. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.7/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Social Good](https://www.trendhunter.com/socialgood) > [Religious](https://www.trendhunter.com/religious) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Youthful Preacher Festivals:** The trend of organizing festivals specifically for young preachers to connect and improve their skills. - **Budding Preacher Development:** The trend of creating opportunities for aspiring preachers to receive feedback and develop their preaching abilities. - **Interdenominational Preaching Feedback:** The trend of providing preaching feedback that focuses on the art of preaching rather than doctrine. ### Who This Affects Most - **Religious Organizations:** Religious organizations can organize similar festivals to support and nurture young preachers. - **Education and Training:** Educational institutions can create programs to help aspiring preachers develop their skills and receive feedback. - **Event Planning and Management:** Event planning companies can cater specifically to organizing festivals or events for young preachers to connect and improve their preaching abilities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multi-Faceted Community-Focused Festivals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halsey-fest.md) - [Rock Climbing Festivals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rock-climbing-festivals-the-north-face-will-host-its-climb-festival-at-nycs.md) - [Young Leaders-Focused Initiatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/global-campus.md) - [Educational Affordable Housing Initiatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/educational-affordable-housing-initiatives-habitat-for-humanity-guelph-well.md) - [Faith-First Online Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-mission.md) - [Groundbreaking Accessible Cultural Initiatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessfest.md) - [Phone-Free Music Festivals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/over-yondr.md) - [Sustainable Public Festivals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloud-9-festival.md) - [Youth Arts Master Classes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outschool.md)
