The Modena site is perfect for the new museum as Enzo Ferrari, a legendary racer and businessman, was born in Modena and lived part of his life there as well. The museum itself is located in a 19th century mansion built by Ferrari's father in 1830. The designers have infused a futuristic aesthetic, complete with a curved roof detailed to look like a yellow sports car. Inside, the walls and exhibits are curvy and white, offering a pristine and polished look and feel that resonates with the luxury autobrand's car models. What's more, the Ferrari Museum in Modena was built with eco-friendly elements, including thermo-sensors that minimize the use of energy, solar technology and water conservation systems. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 44% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Futuristic Architecture:** The design and architecture firms have created a futuristic aesthetic for the Ferrari Museum, showcasing an opportunity for other luxury brands to create innovative and visually stunning architectural designs. - **Eco-friendly Museum Design:** The Ferrari Museum in Modena incorporates eco-friendly elements, presenting an opportunity for the museum industry to focus on sustainable and energy-efficient designs in their future projects. - **Curved and White Exhibits:** The curved and white walls and exhibits in the Ferrari Museum demonstrate a sleek and polished design approach, inspiring other exhibition spaces to explore distinctive aesthetics that enhance the overall visitor experience. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Automotive:** The Ferrari Museum's futuristic and luxury-oriented design highlights opportunities for disruptive innovation in the automotive industry, encouraging brands to experiment with cutting-edge aesthetics and eco-friendly features. - **Architecture and Design:** The collaboration between Future Systems and Shiro Studio for the Ferrari Museum presents innovation opportunities for the architecture and design industry to create visually striking and sustainable projects with a futuristic touch. - **Museum and Exhibition:** The Ferrari Museum's unique design elements offer inspiration for the museum and exhibition industry to rethink traditional approaches and embrace modern, captivating aesthetics that elevate visitor experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Life-Sized LEGO Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/legoland.md) - [Sports Car-Themed Arenas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ferrari-world-yas-island.md) - [Retro Sci-Fi-Inspired Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2025-12cilindri.md) - [Italian Sports Car-Branded Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ferrari-ev-charger.md) - [Italian Lifestyle Sports Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ferrari-roma-spider.md) - [Auto-Celebrating Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/norman-foster1.md) - [Single-Edition Sports Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sf48-unica.md) - [Ultra-Luxe Automotive Publications](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ferrari-endurance.md) - [Modified Everyday Supercars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mansory-ferrari-roma.md)
