Wouldn't that make for a work environment that's much less dull? Designed by Sheilah Carroll and Joe Epstein, the undulating geometric space separator is mesmerizing to behold and offers several intriguing features that you seldom see in mere partitions. Inspired by the shape of the pyramid, the [moveable wall](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glimakra-of-sweden) was assembled using [triangular modules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/morgen-screen) that are metal-edged and covered in soft felt material. These are configured back-to-back and create a zigzagging surface. The material and structure of the separator make it effective in providing visual and [acoustic privacy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harp-system). What's more, the Felt So Good Divider has a small writing surface and an overhead lamp that can be drawn out unexpectedly. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Pop-out Partitions:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop customizable and visually appealing pop-out partitions for modern work environments. - **Geometric Space Separators:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create modular geometric space separators that offer both visual and acoustic privacy. - **Functional Workspace Enhancements:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design workspace enhancements that combine multiple features, such as writing surfaces and overhead lamps, for improved productivity. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate innovative partition designs into interior design solutions for workplaces. - **Office Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop and manufacture unique and functional office partitions for the office furniture industry. - **Architectural Products:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create advanced architectural products that improve the functionality and aesthetics of office spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Felt-Made Retractable Room Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixels-1.md) - [Design-Conscious Office Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/calm-collection.md) - [Pleated Textile Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plissade.md) - [People-Pleasing Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cubicle-system.md) - [Contemporary Modular Space Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallstreet.md) - [Comical Desk-Side Status Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/work-fence.md) - [Contemporary Privacy Screen Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/calm-system.md) - [Rotating Panel Room Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ro-room-dividers.md) - [Modular Acoustic Screens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harp-system.md)
