Created by Lisa Töpfer, the Feinraus ironing kit features a [cordless iron](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-soldering-iron) and [portable ironing board](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lenor-crease-releaser). Although it doesn’t negate the need for ironing at all, it makes the chore that much more convenient. Perhaps it’ll persuade me to actually start ironing! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Cordless Appliances:** Innovative companies can design and sell cordless home appliances to capitalize on the convenience trend started by the Feinraus ironing kit. - **Portable Home Goods:** There is an opportunity to create more portable home goods such as furniture, laundry machines, and more, to appeal to renters and young people who are more mobile. - **Smart Ironing Tech:** As smart technology continues to advance, there is an opportunity for companies to create intelligent ironing tools and devices to make the chore even easier. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Appliances:** Manufacturers of home appliances can incorporate cordless technology into their products to create more convenient and portable options. - **Furniture:** Furniture companies can innovate in creating versatile, portable pieces that appeal to people living in smaller spaces and on-the-go. - **Smart Home Tech:** As more homes become connected with smart technology, there is a need for smarter home goods such as the Feinraus ironing kit. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fully Automated Ironing Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fully-automated-ironing-system.md) - [Dual-Fucntional Steam Iron Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/darimeven.md) - [Handheld Garment Cleaning Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-dry-cleaner.md) - [Shapeshifting Garment Care Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garment-steamer.md) - [Space-Saving Garment Care Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-dualfunction-ironing-board-mirror.md) - [Pressurized Steam-Equipped Clothing Irons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pressurized-steamequipped-clothing-iron.md) - [Garment-Drying Laundry Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zera-lab-launbot.md) - [Folding Garment Care Caddies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joseph-joseph-pocket-plus.md) - [Cordless Soldering Iron Pens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/huhubol-x109.md)
