# Fortune Teller Ceramic Ware The Feed Me Bowl by Anna Thorunn is Shaped Like the Schoolyard Game By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2013-03-29 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/feed-me-bowl-by-anna-thorunn References: [annathorunn.is](http://annathorunn.is) Many people will recall the fortune tellers they used to make as children in the schoolyard and the Feed Me Bowl by Anna Thorunn is shaped to resemble the familiar silhouette. Made from ceramic, the Feed Me Bowl is a modern approach to [serving nibbles when guests come over](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tortugaware) and a perfect piece to display when not in use. The Feed Me Bowl is made by hand by Thorunn and can be used one of two ways: right-side up or upside down. This is like my favorite aspect of the design because it means being able to easily switch depending on needs. If there are [four offerings to separate](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eternos-serving-bowl), use it one way, but if there's only one then flip it around. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Ceramic-ware-inspired-by-schoolyard-games:** Inspires creativity in re-design and modernization of traditional items. - **Versatile-serving-bowls:** Adaptable designs that allow for multiple usage options. - **Handmade-ceramic-tableware:** A trend towards customized and personalized pottery designs. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Provides unique and creative options for a modern home. - **Hospitality:** Offers versatility in serving options for restaurants and cafes. - **Artisanal Crafts:** Introduces innovative ideas for handmade pottery and ceramics. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sushi-Themed Pet Feeders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sushi-feeder-tray.md) - [Dinosaur-Inspired Cat Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dino-bowl.md) - [Beautifully Designed Cat Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beautifully-designed-cat-bowl.md) - [Imperfect Pasta Bowl Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pasta-bowl.md) - [Edible Dog Food Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juliane-fink.md) - [Stackable Rotating Snack Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tapas-snack-sphere.md) - [Intelligent Maze-Style Dog Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hank-pet-bowl.md) - [Retro-Inspired Wave Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-wave-bowl.md) - [Display-Centric Dynamic Fruit Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circuit.md)
