In either chili red, piano black, or ice white, the tank’s modern edge and minimalist design make it an edgy-but-easy fit in any home. But BiOrb is more than a sassy red fish tank that brightens up your bookshelf: it has an [LED lighting system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alherd) that mimics the schedule of sunlight, bringing a little artificial touch of nature to your fishy wishys. Plus, with BiOrb’s advanced [5-stage filtration system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oasium-water-purifier), all you need to do is add fish and feed them! A BiOrb Life Aquarium will run you about $300, but for an acrylic, handmade, self-sustaining aquarium that brightens your home with a stylish kick, we think that’s a pretty good offer. If you have never been a fish lover, this is a great chance to get started! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 69% | Activity: 96% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Modern Aquarium Design:** The rise of modern and minimalist aquarium designs such as the BiOrb Life Aquarium opens up opportunities for companies to create smart and sustainable aquarium options for consumers. - **Smart Home Aquariums:** Incorporating AI and other smart technologies in aquariums such as BiOrb offers a disruptive innovation opportunity for the aquarium industry. - **Minimalist Lighting Innovations:** The LED lighting system in BiOrb's aquarium mimics sunlight, presenting opportunities to create minimalist lighting innovations for home decor and interiors. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Aquarium Industry:** Companies in the aquarium industry can capitalize on the growing demand for modern and smart aquarium designs, such as BiOrb. - **Home Decor Industry:** The BiOrb Life Aquarium provides home decor companies with an opportunity to develop futuristic and eco-friendly accent pieces that incorporate smart technology. - **AI and Smart Home Industry:** Smart aquariums like BiOrb present opportunities for companies working on AI and smart home technology to innovate and make advancements in the industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modern Desk-Friendly Jellyfish Tanks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-jellyfish.md) - [Fish Lifestyle-Inspired Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-gills.md) - [Iridescent Garden Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handpainted-school-of-fish-glass-bird-bath.md) - [Waterless Fish Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zhu-zhu-aquarium.md) - [Ocean-Inspired Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-coralshaped-vase.md) - [Compact Microclimate Terrariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microclimate-terrariums.md) - [3D-Printed Aquatic Life Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooj-design-wavy-lamp.md) - [Accessible Aquarium Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aquaready.md) - [Mindful Digital Aquariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reef-1.md)
