# Instructional Airport Guides Holiday Autos' Faro Airport Car Hire Guide Makes Travel Easy By Laura McQuarrie | Published 2014-01-30 | Autos Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faro-airport References: [holidayautos](http://www.holidayautos.co.uk/car-hire/faroairport.htm) & [holidayautos](http://www.holidayautos.co.uk/) Portugal is an extremely popular tourist destination, however, a survey from car hire broker [Holiday Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holiday-oasis-lounge) revealed that the Faro Airport terminals are some of the most difficult to navigate. In order to help people make the journey from plane to car as easy as possible, Holiday Autos created a [simple visual guide](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/travel-map-video) on what travellers need to do and where they need to go when their plane lands. This [video walkthrough](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audio-guide-it) includes exactly what travellers will see upon arrival, including tips on how to get through passport control and reclaim baggage quickly. The guide is incredibly detailed — it even specifies where travellers should “turn left” or “turn right” to reach their next destination in the airport. From there, Holiday Autos locates the car hire desks and highlights the documentation that the traveller should have on hand. Holiday Autos notes that its cars are available at a conveniently-located roundabout that makes getting out of the airport and into the city totally hassle-free. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 24% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Visual Airport Guides:** Creating visual walkthroughs to eliminate the stress of airport navigation. - **Customized Car Rental Guides:** Developing customized instructional guides to help rental customers save time and improve their rental experience. - **Automated Airport Maps:** Using AI and machine learning to develop automated, personalized airport maps and guides. ### Where This Applies - **Travel and Tourism:** Providing informative tools and resources that simplify the travel experience and improve customer satisfaction. - **Car Rental:** Implementing innovative solutions that enhance the car rental experience, streamline the rental process, and reduce customer confusion and frustration. - **AI and Machine Learning:** Developing automated, personalized airport guides using AI and machine learning to improve the customer experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rental Car Airport Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/visitor-toll-passvisitor-toll-pass.md) - [AI Airport Assistants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hello-aberdeen.md) - [Personalized Airport Assistance](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skipq.md) - [Airport Accessibility Training Partnerships](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cardiff-airport.md) - [Airport-Navigation App Updates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uber-updates.md) - [Feature-Rich Airport Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/byair-app.md) - [Accessible Airport Aids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/autonomous-airport-vehicle.md) - [Autonomous Airport Mobility Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whill-is.md) - [Expansive AI-Powered Travel Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aipowered-travel.md)
