Sitting in the hillside of Cinque Terre, Luguria, A2BC's chic farmhouse architecture project has designers restoring, rebuilding and expanding an [old farmhouse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ricupaglia) into a beauty of modern=day architecture. Featuring a main house [attached to a barn](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amassa-retreat), this farmhouse features high ceilings, spacey rooms and white decor that accentuates all the beauty of rural living while wondrously making this space seem futuristic. Featuring two floors of redesign, A2BC's farmhouse architecture is moving quiet country life miles closer to the bright lights and contemporary feel of the city. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 51% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Revamped Farmhouse Designs:** The trend of revamping farmhouse designs combines modern style with rustic living. - **Modernizing Rural Spaces:** The trend of modernizing rural spaces allows for the transformation of traditional architecture into sleek, contemporary structures. - **Blending Traditional and Contemporary:** The trend of blending traditional and contemporary styles in farmhouse architecture creates a unique and visually appealing aesthetic. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture and Design:** The architecture and design industry can benefit from embracing the trend of revamping farmhouse designs and modernizing rural spaces. - **Real Estate and Property Development:** The real estate and property development industry can capitalize on the trend of revamping farmhouse designs by transforming old properties into modern, desirable homes. - **Interior Design and Decor:** The interior design and decor industry can tap into the trend of blending traditional and contemporary styles in farmhouse architecture to create unique and visually stunning living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Renovated Rural Farmhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-place-in-the-country.md) - [Traditional Stone Farmhouse Extensions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-bressan.md) - [Barn Home Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bulls-barn.md) - [Historic Farmhouse Revivals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joe-burns.md) - [Column-Framed Farm Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bury-gate-farm.md) - [Modern Vacation Barn Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/les-greniers-de-babel.md) - [Transformed Rural Timber Barns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fienile-n.md) - [Wales Farmhouse Renovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delfyd-farmhouse.md) - [Farm Architecture-Inspired Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farmworkers-house.md)
