These [fantasy fish tanks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nereid-marine-habitat) were some of his creations. This [mystical landscape artist](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1) uses a variety of materials and dyes to create all the detailed pieces of this paradise puzzle. The foliage, ground, valleys, streams and mountains were all made with great detail and the final result is surreal. On his website he has a variety of [artistic photographs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble). Some look like an outer space distant planet, while others look like a beach paradise somewhere in the Caribbean. The look is reminiscent of a prehistoric time, before man touched the world with machines. Using a Hasselblad camera to capture photographs of these sub-aqueous scenes, he has made a simple fish tank into a brave new world. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 77% | Activity: 80% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Luxury](https://www.trendhunter.com/luxury) > [Ultra Luxury](https://www.trendhunter.com/ultraluxury) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Fantasy Fish Tank Installations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the market for custom-designed fantasy fish tanks that create surreal underwater landscapes. - **Mystical Landscape Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine art and aquariums by developing a line of mystical landscape art installations for fish tanks. - **Underwater Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop new technology or techniques for capturing high-quality underwater photographs in fish tanks. ### Where This Applies - **Aquarium Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Revolutionize the aquarium design industry by offering personalized fantasy fish tank installations. - **Art and Décor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce a new category of art and décor products featuring mystical landscape designs for fish tanks. - **Camera and Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create specialized underwater photography equipment catered to capturing stunning images in aquariums. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rustic Ruin-Inspired Aquariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-sea-of-cortez-research-center.md) - [Interactive Marine Ecosystem Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marine-ecosystem-sculptures.md) - [Kinetic Reef Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-tropical-aquarium.md) - [3D-Printed Star Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miami-reef-star.md) - [Iridescent Garden Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handpainted-school-of-fish-glass-bird-bath.md) - [Impressive DIY Terrariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-terrarium1.md) - [Repurposed Vintage Apple Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/repurposed-vintage-apple-computers.md) - [Modern Desk-Friendly Jellyfish Tanks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-jellyfish.md) - [Mindful Digital Aquariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reef-1.md)
