The playful project is the result of a collaboration between Valentina Carretta and Fabrico and designed for Seletti. Illustrations have been drawn up to show that [white wireframe baskets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tronco) have also been planned for production in the form of a [pig, a rabbit and a chicken](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/danza-collection), in addition to the whale provided in the images. The whale's mouth is wide open to receive fresh fruit and vegetables for display on your kitchen counter, though it's uncertain just where the other Fantasico Domestico animal fruit bowls will embrace such items. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 35% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Playful Homeware Designs:** Opportunities exist for designers to create more products that inject playfulness into rigid and formal home environments. - **Wireframe Home Accessories:** Wireframe designs present a new avenue for creating eco-friendly home accessories and furniture. - **Animal-inspired Domestic Items:** Animal-inspired items like these wireframe baskets present opportunities for designers to create unique and functional household products. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor Industry:** Companies can look to expand their home decor product lines by incorporating playful and unique designs like these Whale Wire Baskets. - **Eco-friendly Product Industry:** Wireframe designs can be applied to various eco-friendly home products, offering a new range of sustainable furnishings. - **Kitchenware Industry:** Kitchenware designers can take inspiration from these animal-inspired wireframe baskets to create functional and whimsical fruit and vegetable displays. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Anthropomorphized Pet Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-bowl-table.md) - [Sophisticated Upcycled Home Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basket-sculptures.md) - [Creative Dipping Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dip-sea.md) - [Dynamic Colored Glass Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tip-top-glass.md) - [Delicate Basket Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basket-sculpture.md) - [Playful Packaging-Inspired Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/strawberry-milk-vase.md) - [Curvaceous Floating Illusion Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wave-collection-2.md) - [Creature-Inspired Home Good Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charles-jeffreys-loverboy.md) - [Whimsical Storage Baskets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-mushroom-woven-basket.md)
