Sculptor Fan Xiaoyan has created several part woman, part metallic warrior pieces that I would not want to run into in a dark alley. Clearly the 'Terminator' movie franchise did *not* have the market on kickass [half man/half machinery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/advanced-humanoid) cornered.

Fan Xiaoyan's [titillating tank sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kennedy-yanko) make me think of Rose McGowan in Robert Rodriguez's 'Planet Terror'--a role in which she had a [machine gun for a leg](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ffate). Xiaovan's version, however, is ten times more destructive.
