The [hyper-realistic portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-portraits) draw upon every wrinkle, hair and marking on the characters from [HBO’s](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-sopranos-range) ‘Breaking Bad.’ The portraits include four famous television characters within the series including Walter White, Jessie Pinkman, Hank Schrader and Mike Ehrmantraut. If you are a fan of the series, you will appreciate the immense amount of detail that went into these portraits as every detail is captured completely and accurately. Within the portraits there is a light used that stems from the top right corner of each image in order to create shadow and to add depth to the works. This way, every facial feature can be emphasized and enriched. Breaking Bad is a show that is already considered to be one of the top television dramas out there and Davies’ art proves to be at that same level. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Celebs](https://www.trendhunter.com/celebs) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Hyper-realistic Portraits:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing new techniques and technologies to create hyper-realistic portraits in various mediums. - **Character Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Exploring new ways to bring famous television characters to life through artistic interpretations. - **Shadow and Depth Effects:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing innovative lighting techniques to create shadow and depth effects in artworks. ### Where This Applies - **Digital Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introducing advanced digital tools and platforms to facilitate the creation of hyper-realistic portraits. - **Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborating with artists to create unique and immersive experiences that bring fictional characters to life. - **Lighting and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing new lighting and design solutions for artists to enhance the visual impact of their artworks. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wholesome Kingpin Ads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/popcorners-super-bowl.md) - [Fantasy Roleplay AI Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dd-character-portraits.md) - [Reimagined Puzzled Artful Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat.md) - [Sitcom-Inspired Figurine Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-people-collector-set.md) - [Oil Painting-Inspired Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antonio-santn.md) - [Cartoon Painting Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cartoon-painting-collections-diamond-art-club-and-paramount-join-forces-for.md) - [TV Show-Inspired Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stickymonger.md) - [Stylized Portrait Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-to-all.md) - [Pixelated Streaming Series Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stranger-things-litebrite-deluxe-wall-art.md)
