# Hilarious Cinematic CGI Renditions These Videos Take Famous Scenes and Recreate Them Using CGI By Michael Baxter | Published 2014-02-18 | Pop Culture Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/famous-scene References: [neatorama](http://www.neatorama.com/2014/02/18/Terribly-Good-CGI-Recreations-Of-Pop-Culture-Classics/) & [youtube](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQB1IvIDgRc) Naming one’s favorite [famous scenes from movies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/screenflick) off the top of their head can be difficult. Scenes like the [initial dinosaur scene in Jurassic Park](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bitzee-jurassic-world) bring back waves of nostalgia, and reminds us how far technology has come. A [YouTube](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cooking-with-pixar-series) group called Real3D are in the business of digging up old movies and altering them with overtly terrible CGI. In this video, they take a stab at Jurassic Park, and we get to see these balloon like creatures roam what can only be described as a grade school level drawing. The group also takes a look at other famous scenes such as the original Steamboat Willie and Pokémon. The intention is to troll the public, and with a channel description that says they are trying to make “The best 3D animations of the world,” they’re obviously good at it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 11% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Internet](https://www.trendhunter.com/internet) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **CGI Trolling:** Creating humorous and intentionally bad CGI renditions of famous scenes from movies and TV shows. - **Retro Cartoon Remakes:** Using modern technology to recreate iconic cartoon characters in CGI form. - **Nostalgic CGI Recreation:** Recreating famous scenes from movies and TV shows in a comedic and nostalgic CGI format. ### Who This Affects Most - **Film and Television Production:** Integrating intentionally bad CGI renditions into comedy shows or movies as a way to appeal to younger audiences. - **Advertising and Marketing:** Using nostalgic CGI recreation to appeal to a particular generation in advertising campaigns. - **Video Game Design:** Creating retro cartoon remakes for beloved video game characters in CGI form for nostalgic appeal and potential game remakes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ai-Generated Visual Streaming](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-eternaut.md) - [Celebratory Cinematic Toy Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jada-toys-jurassic-park-30th-anniversary-nano-scene.md) - [Satirical Destination Marketing Videos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switzerland-is-fake.md) - [Retro Night Vision Goggles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jurassic-park-goggles.md) - [Movie-Themed Art NFTs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheeky-kyser.md) - [Revived Retro Animations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stranger-things-animated-series.md) - [3D-Printed Flip Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stl-sculptures.md) - [Toy Brick Reimagined Trailers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wicked-movie.md) - [Generative Video Engines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pika-15.md)
