Artists Nancy Woland and Beka Zaridze are dating and decided to start creating artwork using this unusual canvas of fallen leaves they found during romantic walks.

Most people are able to appreciate the beauty of Autumn but it is not often that they actually create it during this cool season. The fallen leaves chosen by the two artists are completely intact and on them, Nancy and Beka paint mystical landscapes and imagery that is often associated with astronomy. The leaves function as a unique, textured backdrop for the artwork and make for excellent photographs.

This art project reveals the creative mindset of the couple who embarked upon it while adding a mystical element to an otherwise ordinary object.
