"We are breaking the misconception that consumers have to compromise between convenience and a true, authentic rum cocktail experience in the RTD space," said Sean Cote, Co-Founder of Sundial Cocktails. "Our Fall Fusion is ready to be enjoyed out of the can, over ice, or with a [caramel and sugar rim](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-heat-cinnamon). The choice is yours." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 54% | Freshness: 91% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Seasonal Cocktail Enhancers:** Limited-time rimmers, syrups and garnishes create new premiumization pathways for canned cocktails by adding ritual, flavor layering and occasion-specific appeal. - **Bar-quality RTD Experiences:** Convenient canned formats are being reshaped by products that mimic mixology cues, narrowing the perceived gap between at-home consumption and professionally crafted drinks. - **Interactive Drink Customization:** Add-on components like caramel coatings and spiced rims introduce personalization into packaged beverages, supporting higher engagement and differentiated shelf presence. ### Where This Applies - **Ready-to-drink Alcohol:** The category is evolving beyond portability as brands use sensory add-ons and cocktail-inspired serving formats to command attention in a crowded market. - **Premium Beverage Accessories:** Flavor rims, garnishes and pairing kits represent an adjacent growth space where small-format products can elevate standard beverages into more curated experiences. - **Seasonal Food and Beverage:** Autumnal flavor profiles such as apple, cinnamon, ginger and caramel continue to drive limited-edition launches that connect beverages to festive consumption moments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Spiced Ready-to-Drink Cola Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bacard-cocacola-spiced.md) - [Mexican-Made RTD Debuts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-mix.md) - [Moonshine-Based RTD Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonshine-cocktail.md) - [Zero-Proof Canned Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rtd-ritual-zero-proof.md) - [Daytime Bourbon Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ready-to-drink-bourbon-cocktail.md) - [Warming Ginger Beer Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spiced-rum-ginger-beer.md) - [Fiery Canned Rum Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sly-dog-rum-spiced-n-stormy.md) - [Autumnal Citrus-Infused Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinnamon-grapefruit-paloma.md) - [RTD Rum Cola Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rumblers-cola.md)
