# Luxury Transparent Pianos The 'Falcon Piano' is Crafted from 100% Acrylic Glass Monomer By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2019-02-07 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/falcon-piano References: [tuvie](http://www.tuvie.com/inspired-by-falcon-headed-god-of-egypt-falcon-piano-is-made-of-acrylic-glass-monomer/) & [behance.net](https://www.behance.net/tnokovski) The conceptual 'Falcon Piano' has been designed as a decor solution that draws influence from the namesake bird of prey to create an unbelievably different aesthetic for the traditional instrument. The piano is crafted from 100% acrylic glass monomer and as such features a see-through aesthetic that gives it a haunting lightweight look that would make it right at home in ultra-modern living spaces. The piano is the design work of Apostol Tnokovski for Paris-based ACRYLICA and is inspired by ancient Egyptian God Horus, which is evident given the falcon aesthetic it features. The organic lines that are observed create harmony with the otherwise stark accents, while brushed metal lines between the front and rear make it appear almost otherworldly from afar. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Transparent Pianos:** Incorporating transparent materials into pianos can create a unique and visually striking aesthetic. - **Ultra-modern Living Spaces:** Designing pianos to fit seamlessly into ultra-modern living spaces can appeal to consumers looking for cutting-edge decor solutions. - **Inspired by Ancient Egyptian Art:** Incorporating the aesthetics of ancient Egyptian art into piano design can provide a distinctive and captivating look. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** Transparent pianos can offer interior designers a new and captivating element to incorporate into their projects. - **Piano Manufacturing:** Integrating transparent materials into piano manufacturing can open up new markets and attract customers seeking innovative and unique instruments. - **Luxury Home Decor:** Luxury transparent pianos can cater to the high-end home decor market by providing a visually stunning and exclusive centerpiece. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Radical Majestic Instrument Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ravenchord.md) - [Sculptural Art Pianos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steel-and-stone-piano-v2.md) - [Stealthy Rare Wooden Instruments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/torch-t01.md) - [Collaboration Piano Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-model-piano.md) - [Digital HD Display Pianos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mozart-console-piano.md) - [Crystalline Acrylic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/draga-aurel-flare-collection.md) - [Incredibly Elegant Keyboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elegant-keyboard.md) - [Curved Facade Canadian Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-building-culture.md) - [Luxurious Lucite Pet Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-furniture-collection.md)
